Mentor Graphics Higher Education Program
Introduction
The Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at
the University of Tennessee has been a participant in
Mentor Graphics' Higher Education Program (HEP) since 1994. The HEP is
designed to facilitate the use of Mentor Graphics tools by Undergraduate and
Graduate students in engineering courses and in academic research.

Curriculum Using Mentor Graphics Software:
- EE 552
- This graduate course will use Design Architect and AutoLogic for synthesis
and simulation of Xilinx FPGAs.
- EE 652
- This graduate course will use Design Architect and MCM Station
for the design, simulation and layout of a multi-chip module for
fabrication via MIDAS.
Research Projects Using Mentor Graphics Software
- Design for Packageability
- Design Architect and MCM Station have been used
for the design, simulation and layout of a multi-chip module
that has been submitted for fabrication via MIDAS.
